It is always mandatory to create a backup before making any changes to any server. If you do not have a backup: Purchase the IONOS Cloud Backup, follow the installation instructions, and complete a manual backup (video).
Due to a recent update of the NSS packages on CentOS 7, some services need to be manually restarted. Failure to do so will result in cURL errors on a CentOS 7 system with Plesk and can affect websites and system functionality.
This is a new bug, known to Plesk internally as bug PPS-15124. You can find Plesk’s article about this here.
Luckily, the solution is simple. To fix this issue, simply login to the server via SSH, and run this command:
systemctl restart plesk-php* && systemctl restart sw-engine
